I am not cool, collected, or calm. I am weird, terrified, and unsure. But, if there's one thing I know, it's this: The world is CRAZY, life is incredibly SILLY, and I'M STUCK ON THIS ROLLER-COASTER  AND I CAN’T GET OFF! (but I'm okay with it.)

My 3rd Playlist On Spotify Is Now Live!

It's been a while since I've done this (about a year to be exact), but better late than never. My first Spotify Playlist - "Driving With Daisys" - was named after my old website, and full of all the music I enjoyed listening to in the car, at the time, while out exploring. I enjoyed creating it so much that in the beginning of 2017, while I was preparing to move across the country, I created my second Playlist - "LIVE BRAVELY". It's been a crazy year since that last playlist was created, and I've definitely uncovered a lot more music in those lightening fast 12 months. This playlist wasn't created for any specific type of event, or adventure, but it's definitely my favorite yet. 57 songs of different genre's, and times.

Music is so important to me despite my failed attempt to be a musician, (I played the Viola in school, and I was NOT good at it), this is where I realized that I wasn't as passionate about creating music, as I was for listening to it. But music has always had a huge presence in my life, anyway. From the tender age of three, where you could find a small, toe-headed me sitting on the hot, red leather seats of my dad's old El Camino, head banging to Metallica, to my first ever live concert - a huge festival, featuring Slipknot as the headliner, or my second Motley Crue show. It's in the memories of local shows at the T.R.E.A. as a teenager, where even as the smallest attendants, my best friend and I dominated the mosh pits. It's all the drives in my best friends car, screaming the lyrics to every Shania Twain song. It's all those frat parties, where I hung out near the DJ, with my boyfriend, and the rest of the Tau boys. And it's in the memories of dancing around in our single-wide trailer home, with my step-sister to artists like The Commodores, Rick James, and Wild Cherry.

It's not always about the lyrics for me, it's about the feeling I get when a song plays. Some songs make me feel reminiscent of old memories, and then there are songs that just simply make me feel like a bad ass bitch for a couple minutes. But that's just me. However these songs make you feel, I hope it's enjoyable, and I hope that the little thowbacks I have woven in to the list make you smile when they start playing. Enjoy.
